Campaign: "Europe's Road to Democracy" - Route map
Starting in May 2025, the Via Democracy Europe Association will be running a special campaign called "European Road of Democracy" to enable the route plaque for the European Route to be affixed free of charge. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the "European Route" along the borders of the five founding countries France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Belgium.
To date, route plaques have been installed at prominent locations along the European Route, including at the European Museum in Schengen, at the Schuman Monument in Scy Chazelles near Metz, the border village of Leidinägen near Saarlouis and the East Belgian town of Eupen.
Local authorities, institutions and organisations along the route of the European Road.
We would be delighted if your municipality/town would take part in our "European Road of Democracy" campaign. Placards have already been placed along the route, see https://via-democratia.eu/termine-fotos/.
